Through the diversification of physical education and the integration of resources, WPEA hopes to promote interaction, practice, discussions, research, and collaborations among the experts, physical educators, and students studying in majors related to physical education from all involved universities and colleges with expertise in physical education and health promotion, middle and high schools, elementary schools, preschools, and physical activity-related institutions for children and adolescents across the world. WPEA hopes to advance the high-quality development of international physical education and promote well-being in children and adolescents.

• coordinate and liaise with universities and colleges with expertise in physical education and health promotion, middle and high schools, elementary schools, preschools, and physical activity-related institutions for children and adolescents across the world

• carry out exchanging and evaluations in teaching practice and quality among universities and colleges, middle and high schools, elementary schools, preschools, and physical activity-related institutions for children and adolescents

• build a digital exchange platform to integrate and share high-quality document and video resources for research, curriculum teaching, and pedagogy 

• host international training workshops for physical education teachers

• promote internationally collaborative research and establish the joint laboratories

• build a platform to cultivate talents and promote international exchange/visits among outstanding teachers and/or students

• build a global platform for international research recruitment and physical education-related job posting information

• organize international seminars for the reformation and development of physical education

• support and facilitate the development of physical education in developing countries
